This trek covers a large part of the Huayhuash mountain range and is considered the second most beautiful trek in the world.
The Cordillera Huayhuash is located in the central highlands of Peru to the south of the Cordillera Blanca. It has 7 mountains that exceed 6000 meters high and other mountains that exceed 5500 meters among them is the second highest mountain in Peru, Yerupaja (6634m) as well as Siula Grande (6356m) made famous by the climber Joe Simpson " Touching the Avoid" among others such as Rondoy (5879m), Jirishanca (6094m), Yerupaja Chico (6121m), Sarapo (6,127m), Carnicero (5,975m), Trapecio (5,644m), Diablo Mudo (5,223m) and the Pumarinri (5,465m).

Day 1: Huaraz - Cuartelhuain (4,180 m) - Cacanan Punta Pass (4,700 m) - Mitucocha (4,230 m)
Transport to Cuartelhuain starting point of the hike.

Day 2: Mitucocha (4,230 m.) - Carhuac Pass “Yanapunta” (4,650 m.) - Laguna Carhuacocha (4,140 m.)

Day 3: Laguna Carhuacocha (4,140 m.) - Paso Siula (4,830 m.) - Huayhuash (4,350 m.)
This day we will ascend to the Siula pass at a height of 4,800m. From here we appreciate the mountains of Siula, Yerupaja Grande and Yerupaja Chico and the 3 famous Huayhuash lagoons.

Day 4: Huayhuash – Trapecio Pass (5,000 m.) – Cuyocpampa (4,560 m.)

Day 5: Cuyocpampa (4,560 m.) - Santa Rosa Pass (5,070 m.) – Huayllapa (3,600 m.)
This day we will ascend to the Santa Rosa pass 5070 m to have an impressive view of the highest mountains of Huayhuash, Laguna Jurao and Sarapococha.

Day 6: Huayllapa (3,600 m.) - Tapush pass (4,770 m.) - Gashpapampa (4,570 m.)
This day we will walk upwards and thus leave the town of Huayllapa behind.

Day 7: Gashpapampa (4,570 m.) - Punta Llaucha pass (4,850 m.) - Laguna Jahuacocha (4,100 m.)

Day 8: Laguna Jahuacocha - Pampa Llamac Pass (4,300 m.) - Llamac - Huaraz
After saying goodbye to our muleteers we will board our mobility towards Huaraz.
