The logic of the routes in this mountain in the middle of a perfect pyramid between 6000 m. makes Artesonraju a mountain of great satisfaction as a goal in the Cordillera Blanca. This mountain serves as the inspiration mascot for the newer Paramount Pictures production logo.
On August 19, 1932, H. Hein and E. Schneider reached the summit for the first time.
