This trek covers a large part of the Huayhuash mountain range and is considered the second most beautiful trek in the world.
The Cordillera Huayhuash is located in the central highlands of Peru to the south of the Cordillera Blanca. It has 7 mountains that exceed 6000 meters high and other mountains that exceed 5500 meters among them is the second highest mountain in Peru, Yerupaja (6634m) as well as Siula Grande (6356m) made famous by the climber Joe Simpson " Touching the Avoid" among others such as Rondoy (5879m), Jirishanca (6094m), Yerupaja Chico (6121m), Sarapo (6,127m), Carnicero (5,975m), Trapecio (5,644m), Diablo Mudo (5,223m) and the Pumarinri (5,465m).

Day 1: Huaraz (3100 m.) – Llamac (3300 m.) – Cuartelhuain (4100 m.)
Transfer by transport to Cuartelhuain where we will set up our first camp. Where we will take a hike to the Asiac viewpoint

Day 2: Cuartelhuain – Mitucocha (4200 m)
From Cuartelhuain we begin to climb towards the first Cacananpunta pass (4,700m); then we descend towards the Janca valley.

Day 3: Mitucocha – Carhuacocha (4150 m.s.n.m.)
This day the hike will be ascending towards the Carhuac pass (4,650m) from where we will have an excellent view of Siula and Yerupaja.

Day 4: Carhuacocha – Huayhuash (4350 m)
This day we begin hiking following the course of the river to the head of the Queropalca ravine and then ascend to the Carnicero pass (4,600m) from where we will have an excellent view of the mountains such as: El Yerupaja 6,634m (second highest mountain in the Peru), the Siula 6,356m (mountain made by the famous Joe Simpson after his dramatic climb that gave rise to the story in his book and later film "Touching The Void").

Day 5: Huayhuash – Viconga – Guñog hot springs (4500 m)
This day the hike brings us closer to the southern end of the Cordillera Huayhuash to then ascend to the Huayhuash pass (4,700 m) from where we will be able to appreciate the view of the Raura mountain range as well as excellent views of the South-East face of the Trapecio mt. Then we will visit the hot springs of Guñog. This day we can relax in the thermal water pools.

Day 6: Guñog – Cuyocpampa (4560 m.) - San Antonio Pass (5050 m)
This day the objective will be to cross the Cuyoc pass (5,000m), the highest point of the trek and from where you will get splendid views of the snow-capped mountains: Cuyoc, Puscanturpa, Trapecio, Siula, Yerupaja, Sarapo and Jurao.

Day 7: Cuyocpampa (4560 m.) - Santa Rosa Pass (5070 m.) – Huayllapa (3600 m.)
This day we will ascend the pass called Santa Rosa at 5070 m. to then descend to Cutatambo and then head until we reach the town of Huayllapa.

Day 8: Huayllapa – Tapush pass (4,770 m.) - Gashpapampa (4,570 m.)
This day we hike uphill in the direction of the Punta Tapush pass (4700 m.), from where we get a panoramic view of the snowy Diablo Mudo (5350 m.).

Day 9: Gashpapampa (4570 m.) – Punta Llaucha pass (4850 m) - Laguna Jahuacocha (4100 m.)
This day the hike will be towards the Llaucha pass (4,850 m) from where we will have an impressive view of the snow-capped mountains: Rondoy, Ninashanca, Jirishanca, Yerupaja Chico, Yerupaja Grande, Rasac and Siula.

Day 10: Jahuacocha – Llamac (3300 m.) – Huaraz
This last day of hiking we will descend through the Huayllan valley passing between ichus and quenuales until we reach the town of Llamac; here our transport will waiting to move us to the city of Huaraz.
