On the ridge that culminates the Ishinca valley rises one of the most accessible "five thousand" of the Cordillera Blanca at the foot of this mountain there is also a Refuge with the same name.
From the summit of Ishinca there is a great panoramic view. It allows us to reach a good height in a short time; It was climbed for the first time in 1954, by: P. Baltazar, C. Fernández, C. Morales, M. Romero, F. Suazo.
