Lake Paron

Paron is the largest lagoon in the Cordillera Blanca located in the province of Huaylas in the department of Ancash. On a clear-sky day, you can see the peak of the Artesonraju, the Pirámide, Huandoy Norte, Pisco, Chacraraju and Paria snow-capped peaks.

Itinerary


  • Transportation Huaraz - Caraz (2290 m) – Paron Valley - Lake Paron.
  • Once in Paron we will take a walk along the lagoon where we will enjoy beautiful landscapes surrounded by quenuales, ichus and orchids.
  • Hike to the viewpoint.
  • Return to Huaraz.
